Who we are

Revenue Engine Asia is organised by APTA and 1000Steps. This website is operated by Asia Pacific Technology Alliance Pte Ltd, UEN 202041801E, 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422.

Our designated Data Protection Officer can be contacted at info@aptaevents.com. Read this notice together with our Privacy Notice and Website Terms of Use.

Cookies and related technologies

Cookies are small files stored by a website or service in your browser. Some last for a browsing session; others remain until they expire or you delete them. Browser storage and similar technologies can also retain information on your device. A cookie identifier or connection information may be personal data when it can identify an individual, alone or with other available information.

What this website currently uses

Our own website code does not create cookies or save information in local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. Programme search, navigation menus and audience tabs work without our saving those choices for a later visit.

We have not installed advertising pixels, behavioural advertising tools, visitor analytics scripts or social-media tracking widgets on this website. There is currently no optional analytics or advertising category to switch on through a cookie preference panel.

The website uses external hosting, content and font services. Those connections can involve technical information even where no cookie is created. The following explains their role.

Hosting and security — Cloudflare

Cloudflare delivers and helps protect the website. Depending on the security features applied to a request, it may use cookies to distinguish legitimate traffic from bots or remember a completed security check. These are security functions, not advertising features installed by us.

For example, Cloudflare documents __cf_bm for its bot-protection services, expiring after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity, and cf_clearance for verification or challenge state. These are conditional examples, not a statement that every visitor receives them. Verification-cookie duration depends on the feature and configuration. See Cloudflare’s cookie information for provider details.

Published content — Sanity

Public programme, speaker and sponsor information may load from Sanity’s content delivery service, and approved images may load from its image service. Our programme request is made without browser credentials. Sanity can receive technical request information needed to deliver resources, including the requesting IP address. The website does not require visitors to sign in to Sanity or use the content editor.

Fonts — Google Fonts

Fonts load from Google’s font services. Your browser makes requests to Google to obtain the font files, which involves ordinary connection information such as your IP address. These requests are separate from submitting an enquiry. See Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google’s handling of data.

Participation forms — Google Forms

Delegate, sponsorship and speaking links take you to Google Forms on Google’s domain. The forms are not embedded in this website. When you open a form, Google’s cookies and related technologies may apply, including functionality, account or security technologies depending on your browser and Google account state. Their lifetimes and settings vary; this website does not control them. See How Google uses cookies and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Our forms do not require Google sign-in to submit, and do not collect your Google account email automatically. A signed-in browser may nevertheless show your Google account. The information you enter into a form is handled as described in our Privacy Notice.

Your choices and consent

You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and other site data, including data stored by external services. You may also manage relevant Google account and privacy settings. Blocking security or form-functionality technologies can cause a security check to repeat or prevent a service from working normally. Clearing stored data does not necessarily remove information already held by a service provider or the information you submitted in a form.

This notice does not treat silence, continued browsing or unchanged default browser settings as blanket consent to personal-data tracking. Where consent is required under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012, we must obtain appropriate consent unless another applicable lawful basis permits the processing. Security cookies are not automatically exempt simply because they are labelled “necessary”.

If we introduce optional tracking, we will assess its legal basis, explain its purposes and update this notice before use. Where consent is needed, optional tracking will remain disabled until you make the relevant choice, and you will be able to withdraw that choice. That preference mechanism is not part of the current website because we have not installed those optional tools.

Connection data, retention and overseas processing

Cookies are only one way data can be processed. Hosting, content, font and form services can also receive requests and maintain technical records. Providers may process information outside Singapore. Cookie expiry is not the same as the retention period for server logs or enquiry responses.

Our Privacy Notice describes the current services and enquiry purposes. Contact our DPO for questions about processing locations, applicable safeguards, retention, access or correction requests, withdrawal of consent or complaints. Applicable legal rights and exceptions remain unaffected by this notice.

Contact and changes

For cookie or personal-data questions, contact info@aptaevents.com, addressed to the Data Protection Officer of Asia Pacific Technology Alliance Pte Ltd. You can also contact us there if you cannot use a participation form.

We will update this notice when relevant website technologies or practices change and show the current effective date. Nothing in this notice waives your rights under applicable law or prevents you from raising a concern with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission.
